The total number of positive COVID-19 cases in Chariton County is now more than 1,800.

According to officials at the Chariton County Health Center, there were 19 newly-reported positive cases on Friday, February 18, raising the county’s total to 1,822 since the beginning of the pandemic.

Due to 1,772 of them being released from public health isolation and 21 COVID-19 related deaths, there are 29 active cases.
