
The Missouri Department of Natural Resources wants to make you aware of a training opportunity.
A news release says the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) developed a Water Sector Guide to Telecommunications During Power Outages (to be published in spring 2022) to help water utilities diversify their telecommunications plans and equipment and help ensure they can continue to communicate with employees, response partners, and customers during a prolonged power outage.
This two-part webinar series will provide an overview of some of the technologies, best practices, programs and services that water utilities can use to ensure continuity of communications.
• Communicating During Power Outages: noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 6; and
• Telecommunications Resources and Services: noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 4.
