Charged with a drug-related felony and being held without bond, a Fayette woman is due in court.

According to a probable-cause statement, on February 1, members of the East Central Drug Task Force, Howard County Sheriff’s Office and Fayette Police Department executed a search warrant at a residence on West Davis Street and say they located multiple drug-related items, including methamphetamine and 32 ounces of liquid that contained methamphetamine.

According to court documents, Megan Diane Brand is charged with a felony for delivery of a controlled substance and delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid and a drug-related misdemeanor.

The court denied a request for bond reduction on February 15. Brand’s preliminary hearing is scheduled to be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at Howard County Circuit Court.
