Kevin R. Boyer, age 44, of the Hardeman area, died Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with William W. Harlow officiating.  Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the family for Kevin and Kelly’s children and education.  Please make checks payable to Kelly Boyer.  An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com

Born December 8, 1977, in Monett, MO, he was the son of George R. Boyer, who survives of the Hardeman area, and Nancy Alling Franklin who survives of Marshall.  Kevin lived in Saline County most of his life and was a 1997 graduate of Marshall High School.  On June 17, 2000, he married his high school sweetheart, Kelly Cassell, who survives of the home.  Kevin worked as a machine operator most of his life and was a member of Gill Memorial Baptist Church.  He worked his way through the Boy Scout program and earned his Eagle Scout award.  He enjoyed the outdoors and was a member of Marshall Bow Hunters.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Kelly, of the home; two sons, Ashton and Lane, of the home; his father, George R. Boyer (Ronda) of the Hardeman area; his mother, Nancy Franklin (Johnny) of Marshall; four siblings: Justin Boyer (Cathy) of Lebanon, TN, Adam Evans (Kayla) of Marshall, Hannah Meyer (Erich) of the Hardeman area, and Holly Evans of Marshall; maternal grandparents, Peter Alling of Marshall and Mervyn Fisher of Neosho; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gene and Mary Cassell of Marshall Junction; as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends.

Kevin was preceded in death by grandparents: Roy and Clara Mae Boyer, Homer Fisher, and Hoyt and Faye Arnold.
