The Glasgow School Board certified the list of graduating seniors during its meeting on Wednesday, May 11.

According to unofficial minutes from the meeting, the board approved to leave all interest earned from the district’s certificate of deposit (C.D. amount is $534,232.55) in the C.D. rather than rolling the interest over into the savings account.

In addition, the board approved amending Regulation 4710 (Resignation: Certified Staff) which outlines the non-emergency contract release penalty for certificated faculty who wish to get out of a contract after already signing to return for the next school year. The new penalty schedule is:
May 1 – May 31 – $500;
June 1 – July 31 – 10 percent of contract; and
August 1 or later – 20 percent of contract.

The board also approved a partnership agreement with Paige Sanders to provide qualifying students with school-based therapy counseling services; the application of two FV4 grants for vocational programs; and offered a contract to Amanda DeMint to teach art for the 2022-23 school year.
