The Slater City Council discussed the upcoming Steve McQueen Car Show during it meeting on Tuesday, June 7.

The car show begins at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 18. Slater Mayor Stephen Allegri provides more details about the event.

The car show is free to attend. Inclement weather may lead to the event getting cancelled and pushed back to the Fall Festival, which is scheduled to begin in Slater on October 13, 2022.

In other news, the council reported on an area power outage that occurred on Memorial Day.
