Two Higginsville Police officers were honored for their quick actions to save lives.

City Administrator Jeanette Dobson said Sergeant Chris Johnson and Officer Joshua Parker were awarded certificates of achievement during the meeting of the Higginsville Board of Aldermen on Monday, July 18.

In other news, Dobson said the board approved a bill for an agreement with Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc.

Also, the board gave its approval to a bill for an agreement with the Lafayette County C-1 School District for a Memorandum of Understanding for the School Resource Officer for the 2022-23 school year.
