A 44-year-old Marshall man who was the subject of a manhunt following two shootings nearly three years ago in Saline County and charged with murder and other felonies has a court proceeding scheduled.

Terrelle Palmer is alleged to have shot four people at two different residences. One of the victims died, and three others suffered injuries on October 2, 2019. The shootings led to a citywide lockdown. Palmer fled the area, and was apprehended in Mississippi on October 18, 2019.

Palmer is facing felony charges for first-degree murder; three counts of a felony for assault in the first degree or attempt; burglary in the first degree; endangering the welfare of a child in the first degree, unlawful possession of a firearm; and two counts of armed criminal action. Palmer remains in custody and is being held without bond.

A case review is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 25. His five-day jury trial is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2023, at Saline County Circuit Court.
