
A Franklin man has been charged with a drug-related felony after officers from multiple law-enforcement agencies executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 400 block of Crews Street on Wednesday, July 27.
A probable-cause statement says members of the East Central Drug Task Force, Howard County Sheriff’s Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol and Glasgow Police Department say they located a baggie containing some white round tablets and a crushed white powder substance that tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine; metal spoons with burnt residue; two pieces of tinfoil with crystal residue; as well as other drug-related items.
Court documents say Norman Keith Wood is charged with a felony for possession of a controlled substance and two drug-related misdemeanors. Bond is fixed at $35,000 cash only.
Wood’s initial hearing is pending at Howard County Circuit Court.
