
Frances Irene DeHaven, age 93, of Marshall, MO, died Friday, September 9, 2022, at Westport Estates in Marshall.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 12, 2022, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Marshall with Rev. Randy Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Ridge Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to Smith Chapel United Methodist Church or Fitzgibbon-Mary Montgomery Hospice. Born February 1, 1929, in Saline County, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Clay McGraw and Martha Nicely McGraw. On June 11, 1950, she married Dale C. DeHaven Jr. who preceded her in death on April 15, 1992. Irene lived in Saline County her entire life and was an active member of Smith Chapel United Methodist Church. She grew up on a farm and became a farmer’s wife. She served as a 4-H leader, was a member of the Napton PTA and was always involved in her children’s activities. Irene was always an active person, volunteered at the Fitzgibbon Hospital Gift Shop for several years and enjoyed bowling with the “Skillettes”.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Coffman and Janice Roberts (Ray), both of Marshall; three grandchildren: Jason Coffman (Tracey), Aaron Shannon (Melissa), and Aimee Klinge (Joe); two step grandchildren, Stephen Roberts (Cassie) and Tim Roberts (Lindsay); four great-grandchildren: Kailyn Wise, Aiden Coffman, Allie Coffman, and Myer Klinge; three step great-grandchildren: Nolan Binkley, Dylan Johnson, and Morgan Johnson; as well as several very special nieces and nephews; and other extended family.
Irene was preceded in death by her parents and husband; and two sisters, Nellie Bartlett and Mabel Moore.
