The Marshall Public Schools Board of Education discussed the hiring of a Human Resource Manager at the monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 25, 2022.

Superintendent Caleb Petet told the board that grant money was available for the hire but that it would take reworking the grant.

The board approved pursuing the reworking of the grant with the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

In other news from the meeting, Petet told the board the results of the Climate and Culture Survey done recently. He reported that 449 parents, 121 community members, 1089 students and 168 staff responded to the survey. Survey results can be found on the Marshall Public Schools website at www.marshallschools.com.
