A New Franklin woman was charged with multiple felonies in Howard County on Thursday, November 10, 2022.

According to a probable cause statement, the East Central Drug Task Force, Howard County Sheriff’s Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol executed a narcotics search warrant at the residence of Ashley Hendrix.

Items seized included eleven plastic baggies containing a white crystal residue, three plastic baggies with a white crystal substance, two glass pipes, three syringes and a glass smoking device. The white crystal substance field tested positive for the presence of methamphetamine. A juvenile was present at the residence at the time of the search.

Hendrix admitted to using methamphetamine within the previous twenty-four hours.

Hendrix was charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance, endangering the welfare of a child, hindering prosecution, from a previous arrest and stealing as well as a misdemeanor.

Hendrix is being held on $10,000 cash only bond with conditions.

A court appearance is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022 at Howard County Circuit Court.
