
The Missouri Public Service Commission has approved a request by Evergy Missouri Metro, Inc. to adjust the Demand Side Programs Investment Mechanism (DSIM) charge on customer bills. The DSIM charge allows Evergy Missouri Metro to recover demand-side management program costs and incentives under the Missouri Energy Efficiency Investment Act.
A residential customer using 1,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity per month will see the charge decrease by approximately $1.63 per month effective Wednesday, February 1, 2023.
Evergy Missouri Metro provides electric service to Carroll, Chariton, Howard, Johnson, Lafayette, Pettis and Saline counties in the KMMO listening area.
