Trash collection rates for the city of Concordia will be increasing effective in March. The city is being charged an increase of $.44 by Republic Services.

The charge for trash collection will be increased from $10.95 to $11.39. According to City Administrator Dale Klussman, the increase was built into the contract with Republic Services.

The increase will go into effect during the March billing cycle.
