The Marshall City Council considered an ordinance to authorize the Marshall Municipal Utilities Board of Public Works to execute an engineering contract for several MMU projects.

The contract in question would be with Burns and McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc., and be for the provision of engineering services at MMU’s Water Treatment Plant. MMU General Manager Jeff Bergstrom reported on some of the details of the contract.

The price of the contract is $149,815. The city council passed the first reading, and will consider a second reading during a future meeting.
