The Pettis County Commission and Sedalia Mayor Andrew Dawson have proclaimed the month of April 2023 as “Crime Stoppers Month” in Sedalia and Pettis County. They urge all citizens of the community to join in its observance.

The Pettis County Crime Stoppers provides a method involving citizens to aid law enforcement in solving felony crimes throughout the community. It gives the general public an avenue to anonymously provide information regarding criminal activity to law enforcement. The Crime Stoppers program is funded by private donations and fund raising.
