The Higginsville Board of Aldermen approved contracts for street work during its meeting on Monday, April 17, 2023.

According to City Administrator Jeannette Dobson, the board approved contracts for asphalt, milling and concrete for the coming year in the amount of $529,448.

Dobson stated the board also approved the commission of three police officers.

In other news from the meeting, the board accepted the results from the April 4 municipal election.
