
The Slater City Council held a discussion over future meetings on Tuesday, June 6.
The council won’t be able to meet on June 20 and July 4. The council is considering rescheduling a special meeting on June 27 if the conditions are still dry to make a decision about fireworks for the Fourth of July celebration. Otherwise, the council plans to cancel that meeting.
In other news City Administrator Gene Griffith presented several events to the council. Swim lessons are being offered July 3-14, and the Pool Bash is scheduled for August 11.
