The Kansas City Royals scored five runs in the first inning, and beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-4 on Saturday.

Julio Urias came back from the injured list from the Dodgers and ran into some trouble in the bottom of the first inning. The Royals plated five runs off of RBI hits from Salvador Perez and Drew Waters. Edward Olivares and Samad Taylor also drove in runs with sacrifice flies. Urias would allow five runs on six hits over three innings.

The Dodgers answered immediately with a three run second inning. Daniel Lynch would pick up the win, going five innings and allowing three runs and five hits.

Scott Barlow picked up his tenth save of the season after finishing the final four outs.
