The Cleveland Guardians jumped all over Brady Singer and cruised to a 10-6 win over the Kansas City Royals on Saturday, July 8.

Singer allowed six runs on 13 hits over five innings of work. The Kansas City bullpen allowed another four runs over four innings.

Cleveland rookie Gavin Williams went 5 2/3 innings to win his first game in his major league career. He gave up three runs and struck out seven batters.

Bobby Witt Jr. had a three-hit day for the Royals, including a home run and a triple. He was a double away from the cycle.

The Royals pulled within a run in the eighth inning, but the Guardians scored three more insurance runs to pull away 10-6.

The Royals have fallen to 25-65 on the season.
