A burn ban has been put into effect in Knob Noster on Tuesday, July 25.

Despite getting some rainfall over the last couple of weeks, the drought conditions persist. Knob Noster is still in the “Extreme Drought” classification according to the U.S. Drought Monitor. With windy and 100+ degree conditions in the forecast for the next week, the Burn Ban will remain in effect.

It will take significant rainfall and improvement in local conditions to remove the Burn Ban.
