The Odessa Board of Aldermen approved a resolution regarding budget amendments to the Fiscal Year 2023 budget during its meeting on Monday, July 24.

City Administrator Shawna Davis said the resolution states the facts and reasons for the necessity to amend and increase the City’s annual budget.

The increase in the City’s budget are the result of additional expenses from actions the board has taken. The board approved an additional School Resource Officer (SRO), approved the project at Odessa City Hall, and added a new police vehicle.

The resolution was approved by the board.
