
A Kansas City man was charged with two felonies in Saline County on Monday, August 21.
According to a probable cause statement, A Marshall Police Officer was dispatched to investigate an alleged attempted assault on Monday, August 14. Two individuals informed the officer that Jesse Adams had allegedly attempted to break into one of the individual’s residence and Adams and the victim began to argue at which time Adams allegedly swung a baseball bat.
After an argument Adams allegedly took the victim’s car keys and left. Adams allegedly returned later and swung the bat at the second individual and left before law enforcement arrived.
According to authorities, Adams is a fugitive from justice in Kansas City and has a history of violation of a protection order and burglary.
Adams was charged with felonies for first degree burglary and attempted assault.
Bond has been set at $15,000 cash only.
No court date has been set.
