
A Sedalia man has been charged after an incident involving a shotgun on Thursday, August 24.
According to a report from the Pettis County Sheriff’s Department, a deputy was dispatched to a residence for a domestic disturbance. A victim stated to the deputy that Gordon Worthy had allegedly placed a shotgun to his head and made threats to kill him.
After talking with Worthy via a PA system, Worthy exited the residence at which time was placed under arrest. The victim stated to the deputy Worthy allegedly was angry and threatened to kill him and another person in the residence.
According to court documnets, Worthy has been charged with a felony for unlawful use of a weapon.
Bond has been set at $10,000 cash or surety with conditions.
No court date has been set.
