A Columbia woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident in Saline County on Wednesday, September 13.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Terri Newham traveled into the left lane to pass a tractor trailer and struck another verhicle.

Newham was transported to University Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

The crash occurred at 10 a.m. on Westbound I-70 in Saline County.
