A Salisbury man was seriously injured in a one-vehicle accident on Thursday, September 14.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred when 22-year-old William Kaneer, while traveling at a high rate of speed, lost control of the vehicle. Kaneer traveled into the opposing lane of traffic and returned to the roadway before traveling off the right side of the roadway striking multiple trees and overturning.

Kaneer was transported by Howard County Ambulance to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The accident occurred at 9:21 p.m. on Highway 87 south of Route E in Howard County.
