A homeless male was arrested and put on a 24-hour hold at the Pettis County Jail for reportedly threatening a female with a knife.

The suspect was identified as 46 year-old Michael Brewington.

Brewington was arrested and charged with one count of 3rd degree assault and one count of unlawful use of a weapon.

Brewington was arrested near the 700 block of E Broadway on Monday October 23, around 3 p.m. in the afternoon.
