
The Pettis County Sheriff’s Department arrested a subject after traffic stop on Monday, November 13.
According to a probable cause statement, deputies initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle with plates that expired in 2021.
The driver of the vehicle, identified as Timothy Wood, allegedly told authorities he also did not have a valid driver’s license.
Deputies search Wood’s person and the vehicle, locating a crystalline substance that tested positive for methamphetamine and a syringe.
Wood has been charged with felonies for possession of a controlled substance and driving while revoked. Bond has been set at $55,000 cash or surety.
Wood has a counsel status hearing scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday, November 22 at Pettis County Circuit Court.
