The Holiday Project collection event will be held on Wednesday, December 13, and several items are being requested.

The Holiday Project is a valuable resource for local families and individuals to receive food and gifts at Christmastime. Local churches, non-profit organizations, and countless community individuals work together to donate, volunteer and organize these efforts. Lindsey Parton says the items being requested include gifts for 11-15 year-old boys and girls, as well as several food items.

Items will be collected on December 12 and 13 at the Martin Community Center. There are also numerous drop-off locations around Marshall and Saline County. Those will be collected at the drop-off locations until December 12.
