The Concordia Board of Aldermen discussed items relating to the city’s ball field programs and facilities during its meeting on Monday, December 18.

City Administrator Dale Klussman said the board is considering the formation of a Concordia Ball Association.

Klussman said the board discussed sponsor and player fees, as well as a banner program to allow companies to advertise at the fields.

In other news, the board accepted a recommendation to rename the Yellow Field to the “Bergman Field.”
