Patricia Ann Edwards, 81, of rural Alma, MO, died Monday, February 12, 2024, at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, at Bethel United Church of Christ in Concordia, with Rev. Dr. Alan Gatewood officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery in rural Alma. Born December 3, 1942, in Kansas City, MO, she was the daughter of the late Marion L. Tebbenkamp and Florean E. Molloy Tebbenkamp. She was a graduate of Concordia High School and earned a Bachelor and Master’s degree from Central Missouri State University in Warrensburg. On December 15, 1962, she married William Donald Edwards who preceded her in death on January 25, 2010. She was a special education administrator working at Concordia, Odessa, Marshall and Sweet Springs Public Schools, retiring in 2009. She was a member of Bethel United Church of Christ. She enjoyed flower gardening and working on the farm.

Survivors include one son, Jon Donald Edwards (Kimberly) of rural Alma; her significant other, Dick Hammel of the home; two grandchildren, Christopher Jon Edwards (Allie) and Laura Elizabeth Edwards; two step-granddaughters, Andrea Nugen (Tim) and Brandi Hawkin (Joseph); and two step-great-granddaughters, Alena Hawkin and Lainey Hawkin.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Keith William Edwards; and one brother, Elmer Tebbenkamp.
