
Opal Lee Harrison, 72, of Marshall, MO, died Thursday, March 21, 2024, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Memorial graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at Hazel Grove Cemetery in Saline County with William W. Harlow officiating. Born August 18, 1951, in Marshall, she was the daughter of the late Loyal Jack Grandstaff and Elsie Matsler Grandstaff. Opal was married to Charles Curtis Dwayne Mayabb, who preceded her in death, and on November 5, 1989 she married Jack Harrison who preceded her in death on November 8, 2008. Opal was a homemaker most of her life and had attended Zoar Baptist Church in Napton.
Survivors include two children, Carolyn Mayabb (Dan Maroon) of Excelsior Springs and Wayne Mayabb of Albany; one granddaughter, Hailey; four brothers: Troy Grandstaff (Pat) of Wichita, KS, Bob Grandstaff (Doris) of Napton, Charley Grandstaff (Carolyn) of Miami and Carl Grandstaff (Joanne) of Hoisington, KS; one sister, Mevina McGlocklin (O.D.) of Napton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Opal was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; one son, Jack Mayabb; four brothers and five sisters.
