
Arlis Ann Spencer, 85, of Concordia, MO, died on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at the Good Shepherd Care Community in Concordia.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 4, 2024, at Campbell-Lewis Chapel in Concordia, with William W. Harlow officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Sweet Springs, MO. Memorials are suggested to family choice. Born July 8, 1938, in Marshall, MO, she was the daughter of the late R.L. Duffey and Maude Molloy Duffey. She was an avid Wal-Mart shopper and was a jewelry and shoe fanatic. Her loves in life were watching the Walton’s and Beverly Hillbillies, and eating out, playing cards, games and reading.
Survivors include three daughters, Tawney Maberry of Sweet Springs, MO, Kim Edwards (James Harris) of Glasgow, MO and Troyce Lipscomb (John) of Kansas City, MO; two stepdaughters, Pam Samuels (Charles) of Burlington Junction, MO and Lori Spencer of Kansas City, MO; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Arlis was preceded in death by her husband, George Spencer in June of 2002; one daughter, Tammey Sevier; one son, Stephen Edwards; one grandson, Lance Thomas Edwards; and one brother, Tom Duffey.
