
A Holden man was killed in a crash on U.S. Highway 50 on Monday, April 8.
According to a report, the crash occurred when a motorcycle driven by 36-year-old Ronnie Joy attempted to pass another vehicle. Joy’s motorcycle then struck the front driver’s side of the other vehicle, causing the motorcycle to overturn. Joy was ejected from the motorcycle.
Joy was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The accident occurred at 5:54 a.m. on U.S. 50, east of County Road 1201 Road in Johnson County.
