Missouri Department of Transportation crews are starting the week with several pavement repair projects across the state, including several in our area.
In Johnson County, the Holden Street bridge over U.S. Route 50 in Warrensburg will undergo repairs today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Crews will flag traffic over the bridge. Route AA in western Johnson County will also have flagging operations today from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. for seal-coating. Later this week, Route TT will be seal-coated on Tuesday, followed by Route KK on Wednesday and Route U on Thursday.
Meanwhile in Lafayette County, flagging operations are set throughout the week along U.S. Route 24 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, to allow crews to perform pavement analysis. One other project planned this week in the county will see crews replace culverts on Route O between Howe Road and Benton Lane, about five miles south of Lexington. Full closure of the roadway is planned during the day Wednesday and Thursday.
And in Howard County, pavement repairs are planned for the entirety of Route E on Monday through Thursday. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.
