A Florida resident was killed after overturning a lawn mower in Lafayette County on Saturday afternoon.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol and Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department responded to the incident around 3:45 p.m. on Oakland School Road, about five miles east of Odessa. Troopers say that 68-year-old Mark Aldrich was riding his mower south when the mower overturned, coming to rest on top of him. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
