Two Sedalia roadways remained closed until 5 p.m. Friday, October 4 to allow workers to continue a stormwater improvement project.

The roadways of East 12th Street, between South Montgomery Avenue and South Brown Avenue, and East 10th Street, between South Hancock Avenue and South Marvin Avenue, are closed to through traffic. Heavy equipment and workers will be in the area.

Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination. This work is weather dependent and inclement weather may result in the work being rescheduled to a later date.

Crews initially expected these roadways to be reopened by Wednesday.
