The Higginsville Chamber of Commerce will host their annual Christmas Parade and Mayor’s Christmas Tree lighting Thursday, Dec. 5.

Executive Director Teri Ray has the schedule:

The parade will start at 15th and Main and proceed south to the railroad tracks. Ray says several businesses downtown will have specials throughout the evening as well as more festivities.

Ray adds that Santa will make an appearance in the parade and greet children at Santa’s Hut after the parade next to City Hall.
