A new interchange is slated to be built this summer north of Sedalia on Highways 65 and HH.
This is a Pettis County project that has minimal oversight from the Missouri Department of Transportation. HH will be closed to allow crews to install a new interchange north of Sedalia. MoDOT Area Engineer Marisela Ward says there still needs to be work done on some outer roads before crews can start on the interchange.
Ward says work on the new interchange will begin over the summer, with the project to be completed by the end of the year. MoDOT’s role in this project is to provide oversight during construction to make sure everything meets the design standards.
