Murrell Library and Academic Support Center on the campus of Missouri Valley College is celebrating an open house showcasing nearly $450,000 in improvements and upgrades on March 20.

Guests will be invited to tour the many new spaces, meet the staff, and engage with interactive demonstrations in the Valley Innovation Lab. Assistant Dean of Library and Academic Support Services Samantha Perkins said the open house will offer faculty, staff, students and community members to explore newly enhanced spaces designed to support academic success, collaboration, and innovation.
The open house will showcase updated study areas, new furniture, and key academic resources including the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, the Valley Innovation Lab, Group Study Rooms, Academic Coaching Center, and the Testing Center.

The event will be held from 2-4 p.m. on the Missouri Valley College campus.
