Eleven veterans and active duty service members will be honored in Military Flag Retreat ceremonies taking place at next month’s Missouri State Fair.

Each of the veterans/active duty service members were chosen from nominations submitted and will be honored in a ceremony to take place just outside the Historic Administration Building on the Fairgrounds. The nominations included service members from all over the state of Missouri.  You can view the complete list of honorees as well as the date and times of each ceremony below.

The Missouri State Fair runs August 7-17 in Sedalia.

-Charles R. Brazeale, of Paris, U.S. Army – Aug. 8 at 5:30 pm
-Billy D. Allen, of Chilhowee, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers – Aug. 9 at 5:30 p.m.
-Darrell Williams, of St. Higginsville, U.S. Marine Corps – Aug. 10 at 5:30 p.m.
-Judson Hoyt, of Lexington, U.S. Army & U.S. Air Force – Aug. 11 at 5:30 p.m.
-Gerald E. Brown, of Gilliam, U.S. Marine Corps – Aug. 12 at 5:30 p.m.
-Brendan Jeffords, of St. Louis, U.S. Marines Corps – Aug. 13 at 5:30 p.m.
