Rehabilitation work on a bridge west of Knob Noster has a portion of U.S. Route 50 down to one lane in each direction for at least the next two months.

The Missouri Department of Transportation began work Monday, Mar. 30 on the westbound bridge over Clear Creek. As part of the work, both directions of traffic will use the eastbound bridge, with traffic limited in each direction to one lane. The traffic pattern is expected to last until June, when MoDOT anticipates completion of the project.

All work is weather permitting. Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones.
