Central Missouri AGRIService General Manager John Fletcher was one of five inductees in this year’s class of the Missouri Agriculture Hall of Fame.
Fletcher, along with Jim Novinger, Gary Porter, Dr. Anson Eliott, and Jackie Moore, made up the 2026 Induction Class and were recognized during a ceremony in Jefferson City on Tuesday, April 14. The Missouri Agricultural Hall of Fame was created in 2023 to recognize farmers, ranchers, and agri-business leaders who have made an outstanding contribution to Missouri agriculture. Missouri State Fair Foundation Executive Director Karri Wilson says inductees must be nominated and selected during a lengthy application process.
Wilson also spoke about Fletcher’s impact on agriculture and the community. She says he was very worthy of the induction.
The Missouri State Fair Foundation is accepting nominations for the 2027 Induction Class until September 15. Anyone wishing to nominate a candidate can fill out the form on the foundation’s website.
