Beverly Ann Thomas, 79, of Warrensburg, Missouri, passed away on April 14, 2026.

 

A caring daughter, mother and grandmother, Beverly is survived by her son, Jesus “Chucho” (Michelle) Santiago and grandchildren, Emery and Griffin.

 

Beverly was born on December 17, 1946, to John L. and Maxine Thomas in Marshall, Missouri. After Beverly graduated from Marshall High School in 1964, she went on to study Mathematics at Central Missouri State University. After graduating with a degree in Math, she started her first position as a teacher. Later she went to work at the Marshall State School working with developmentally disabled individuals, where she worked until she retired.

 

Previously married to Angel Santiago, Beverly dedicated many years to raising her son in Marshall.

 

In 2003, Beverly retired and spent her time caring for her parents and conversing with family and friends.  Beverly was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs fan and enjoyed watching and discussing the games with her loved ones.

 

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Maxine Thomas; nephew, Greg; and several aunts and uncles.

 

She is survived by her sister, Sandra (Gary) Allen of Battle Ground, Washington; nephew, Jeff (Lynda) Allen of Sumter, South Carolina; niece, Angela (Josh) Allen-Cornelius of Vancouver, Washington; and many beloved relatives within the Santiago, Inzunza and Pardo families.

 

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at Ridge Park Cemetery in Marshall. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the First Baptist Church in Marshall, where Beverly was a life-long member. An online guestbook is available at www.campbell-lewis.com.
