The Santa Fe R-10 Superintendent Derek Lark reflected on the service Tim Dierking provided to the district following his unexpected passing last weekend.
Lark tells KMMO News that the Board of Education recognized Dierking’s service to the district and the community prior to the start of its meeting on Thursday, April 16. Lark says Dierking’s presence with be greatly missed on the board and in the community.
The board also held its reorganization, with Russell Limback to continue as President, Jennifer Hostetter as Vice President, Darren Wodrich as Secretary and Justin Schuster as Treasurer. Dierking’s passing now leaves a vacancy on the Board of Education, as a new member will need to be appointed to fill out the term. Dierking’s obituary can be found here.
The board’s next meeting is set for Wednesday, May 13.
