The Moberly School District has announced the appointment of Kristen Palmer as Principal of Gratz Brown Elementary effective for the 2026-2027 school year.

Palmer brings 25 years of experience in education, having served as a classroom teacher assistant principal, and principal. Palmer currently serves as Director of the Center for Gifted Education in Columbia Public Schools. Superintendent Cristina Wright says she’s excited to have Palmer join the team at Gratz Brown.

 

Palmer succeeds Bobbi Martin, who has been named Assistant Superintendent of the district. Palmer earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Oklahoma and holds advanced degrees from the University of Missouri and William Woods University. Her appointment is effective July 1.
