The Missouri Valley Vikings men’s volleyball team will headline one of the four pools at next week’s NAIA national tournament in Cedar Rapids.

The Heart of America tournament runners-up are seeded fourth and will enter the national tournament with a 23-5 record. They are in Pool D against fifth-seed Campbellsville (Ky.) and 12th seed Indiana Tech. This is the third trip to nationals in the program’s history and second-straight, following last year’s semifinal finish where the Vikings upset the defending champions in pool play and tiebreaker matches. The Vikings will have their first game April 28 at 4 p.m. against Indiana Tech, then face Campbellsville the afternoon of April 30.

Missouri Valley is among four teams from the Heart of America competing next week at nationals. The undefeated Park Pirates have the top seed, needing all five sets to outlast the Vikings, while Mount Mercy is seeded sixth and William Penn tenth. The national tournament will conclude May 2 and take place at the Alliant Energy PowerHouse in Cedar Rapids.
