
Cooper County authorities arrested a Pilot Grove man believed to be trafficking drugs within the county.
The Cooper County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Division of Drug and Crime Control and members of the Mid Missouri Drug Taskforce executed a search warrant at a residence in Pilot Grove on April 20 after law enforcement obtained information that a male at the residence was associated with illicit drug trafficking within Cooper County.
Upon arrival, 50-year-old Kristopher Harvey was located at the residence and detained while troopers and deputies executed the search warrant. Narcotics officers located approximately 59 grams of crystal methamphetamine inside the residence. Harvey was taken into custody and transported to the Cooper County Detention Center and placed on a 24-hour investigative hold.
Harvey is facing a felony charge of trafficking drugs in the second degree. Bond was set at $75,000. A bond reduction hearing is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 at Cooper County Circuit Court.
