A Clark man was injured in a motorcycle accident near the 112 Mile Marker of Interstate 70 on Friday, April 24.

A report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the rear tire of the 37-year-old Clark man’s motorcycle failed, causing him to lose control and travel off the left side of the roadway at 2 p.m. The motorcycle overturned and ejected the driver.

The motorcyclist was taken to University Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
