A boil advisory is in effect for the entire city of Knob Noster.
City Administrator Cameron Jackson tells KMMO News that city crews have fixed a water leak that led to some residents losing water service Friday afternoon. The advisory has since been issued as of 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Until further notice, customers are advised to bring all water to a rolling boil for at least three minutes before using it for drinking and cooking purposes. City crews are actively working to restore normal system pressure. This advisory will remain in effect until the issue is resolved and water quality testing confirms the system is safe.
